Bridget and Don had a beautiful wedding ceremony at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Alpharetta on Sept 8. Their reception was held at nearby Horseshoe Bend Country Club.  The couple had a great time racing in golf carts and playing in the fountain (not really).  There were lots of funny, emotional & exciting moments during the reception- including regular updates on how well Notre Dame was doing.  At the advice of their priest, they made a quick exit so that they could start enjoying their honeymoon.

On Aug 11  Jessica & Devin had a beautiful wedding at Carl House in Powder Springs.  This was the only wedding I had in Aug, thank goodness since it was miserably hot.  I generally like to be low key and wear all black to weddings (plus it hides stains from lying on the ground better) but at near 100 degree temperatures, I took a chance on a brown blouse with khakis.  Wouldn’t you know, I matched the wedding party perfectly.  Take a look at some of my favorites of the day.

It’s almost fall so I figured I need to catch up on my summer weddings!  On July 28, my cousin Larry and his long time girlfriend finally tied the knot.  They had a small, family wedding at Columbia Baptist Church, with many family members coming in from NYC, NJ & Chicago.  I must admit, I got hugs from more than one person I didn’t recognize and commenting on how big I had gotten. 

Family weddings are hard because you have to work when you want to play.  But my trusty second shooter, Michelle was there to relieve me of my camera.  She shot most of the reception but here are a few of my favorites that I took on that day.

I’m behind on my blogging but I didn’t want to leave out the wedding of Ely & Bobby in Delray Beach, Fl on Jul 21, 07.  It was a beautiful day, until it started thundering & lightening.  But I’m told this is normal for Florida afternoons.  Despite the whether both Ely & Bobby were in a good mood and really excited that their wedding day finally arrived.  Here are some of my favorites from the day.
