Here are some highlights from NaTasha and Dexter’s gorgeous wedding at Villa Christina. Zephanie Curlett of Unique Events & Favors made sure the day ran smoothly. The six layer towering cake was provided by Cakes by LaMeeka.

I just got Alystia and Fransua’s wedding album from the printer and thought I’d share a few photos. This is the Fine Art Book and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I can’t wait for them to receive it.

Here are a few photos of my latest wedding at the The Carter Center. The staff at the Carter Center and Proof of the Pudding made the day go smoothly for the couple and for us. Kristina was stunning in her Vera Wang gown. There are so many beautiful locations for portraits on the grounds and I’m only featuring a few of them. I’d love to have this Japanese garden in my backyard.

My goal in creating wedding photos is to give the viewer a since of what it felt like to be present in that wedding. There is always a lot of energy and excitement going on and one technique I occasionally use to capture that is motion blur. Motion blur is the intentional use of blur to imply movement. There are a variety of ways to use but I especially love motion blur on the dance floor. We’re used to seeing those moments frozen, but sometimes it’s nice to see the movement.
There are some tricks to pulling this off and it doesn’t always work, but when it does, it can be a nice and unique way to preserve a moment.
