Here are some highlights from a recent wedding at the Shamrock Community Center in Clayton County. It’s a blank slate for the bride to decorate and she did a great job using a black and white theme. I especially liked the bling on the cake, courtesy of Cakes by LaMeeka.

Georgian Club Wedding

March 30th, 2011

Here are some favorite photos from my latest wedding. The couple is originally from Tanzania so most of the guests flew in from Africa. There were lots of spontaneous outbreaks of singing and dancing, from the start of the ceremony to through the exit. This was really a fun wedding to photograph.

The Solarium Wedding

March 2nd, 2011

I’m sharing a few of my favorite photos from a fall wedding at The Solarium at Scottish Rite in Decatur, GA. Matt and Kendra were a laid back couple so we started with a First Look.  When the couple will see each other before the ceremony  I’ll arrange a time and place for them to see each other for the first time called a First Look. This is a great opportunity to get natural expressions and emotions so I love when couples decide to do this.   All the formal portraits are done before the ceremony so everyone can enjoy the cocktail hour or immediately go to the reception.

Matt & Kendra had lots of unique touches to their wedding but I especially loved the wedding pies!

Carter Center Wedding

January 4th, 2011

My last wedding of the year was Nydia and Cliff’s wedding at the Carter Center.  The gold bridesmaids dresses and decor were a perfect compliment to the Christmas decorations already at the Carter Center. I love holiday season weddings and wish I could have had one myself if I had the time before going on active duty. Here are a few of my favorites from Nydia and Cliff’s big day.

Last month I shot Erika and Keylan’s wedding at Callanwolde so here a very few of my favorite photos of the day. There are so many, it’s hard to narrow it down for a blog post. It’s been a while since I photographed a Callanwolde wedding so I was pleasantly surprised to see the new gardens. Many vendors contributed to making this a beautiful day. Lighting by Magnum, flowers by Perfect Petals, cake by For Goodness Cakes, and catering by Proof of the Pudding. The DJ, Twinn Productions brought something I haven’t seen in a long time – records. Everything was executed flawlessly by Toronda Williams, the wedding coordinator.
