How much do your packages cost?

Photography coverage only starts at $1200. You're free to choose from several service & product options such as wedding albums and engagement portraits. Customize a wedding photography package to suit your specific needs.

Who will be our photographer?

I personally photograph all of my weddings. I only shoot 1 wedding a day and will not subcontract your wedding to another photographer in order to take another booking.

How many photographers will shoot our wedding?

You can choose to add an associate photographer. If you are unsure of your needs, I can help you determine the appropriate level of coverage based on the length of your wedding, events planned and number of guests.

Will you travel to my wedding?

Yes I will travel regionally, nationally or internationally for weddings. Travel fees may vary depending on distance, time of year and package chosen. Please inquire for more details.

What is your style of photography?

I would describe my style as a photojournalistic with an artistic twist. I like to be friendly but remain unobtrusive while documenting your day. I bring a unique vision that blends my study of art, composition and photography to tell the emotional story of your day. Many photojournalistic photographers will boast of giving you hundreds or even thousands of images. I believe in quality, not quantity so you will not get a stack of random candid shots. There is always a why behind each image I take. As you look through my online gallery, my style will be evident.

How many photographs do you take?

I take as many photographs as necessary to fully document your wedding day. I do not limit the number of exposures taken and provide you with all proofs, not a select few. Because I cannot control the events of your wedding, I cannot guarantee a minimum number of images provided. But lately I've averaged between 400-600 proofs delivered.

How soon will we get our proofs?

Your proofs will be delivered within 3-4 weeks. After your honeymoon I'll schedule a viewing appointment where you can relax and enjoy your wedding photos. I want you to be the first to see your wedding images so your online gallery will be activated after you've seen your proofs. This gives you the opportunity to pull any images that you don't want online. You also have the option of password protecting your gallery.

How long will our online web gallery last?

Your online gallery is available for 90 days. Depending on the album you choose, this should be available until your album is delivered.

Do you shoot in black and white?

Yes, I provide a mix of color and black & white images. The mix will vary depending on the color, theme and decorations of your wedding. I also consider your preferences in determining how many black & white images that I shoot.

Can I request that you make a color photo black & white (or vice versa)?

Yes but generally speaking, I will present the image to you the way that I intended it to be. You also have the ability to preview any color image in black & white or sepia in your online gallery. But keep in mind that the final print will look different than the online image. That is because I convert the images myself and do not leave it up to the lab.

Do you do any "special effects"?

Retouching is included on any ordered image, whether it is an enlargement or used in an album or slideshow. By retouching, I mean minimizing flaws, de-emphasizing background clutter, etc. I have a variety of techniques that I use to enhance the beauty of an image. I prefer a natural style so you may not recognize it unless I show you a before and after.

What type of albums and products do you offer?

I provide a full range of services and products to meet your needs. I offer a variety of flush mount albums with various cover styles, colors, types of paper and sizes. I also offer hardback, full photo cover, coffee table books. You can choose from two types of designs (layout of images on the page). Magazine style design will use several images per page to tell the story of your wedding day. There will also be a few "feature" images that will take up an entire page or spread (two facing pages). It makes use of other design elements such as text or backgrounds to complement the story. Classic design is a simple yet elegant presentation of your favorite images. These are generally 1 or 2 per page and will not neccesarily tell a story.

In addition to albums, I offer custom made slideshows of your favorite images set to music. I can provide custom design greeting cards that can be used as save the date cards, invitations or thank your cards. Of course, I offer enlargements of your favorite images and can provide framing as well. Please inquire about our full range of products.

What happens if you get sick or hurt before our wedding?

I am a member of professional photography associations as well as a worldwide network of photographers. I can arrange a replacement of similiar style and skill to photograph your wedding, with your approval. Depending on the nature of the injury or illness I will still perform all other contractual obligations. You may also choose to have your retainer refunded and select a new photographer on your own.

Why should I hire you?

First & foremost is because you like my style of photography. I draw inspiration from fashion, portrait and music photography and combine that into a unique vision that you cannot get elsewhere. I strive to provide you with excellent customer service before, during and after your wedding. This includes quickly responding to all emails and phone calls or trying to accommodate any special requests you may have. I like to have fun and be friendly, yet I remain quiet and unobtrusive. I will not be bossy or overbearing with you, your guests, or other vendors. Lastly, I am a professional with the proper licenses, insurance and back up equipment and Im prepared to handle the unexpected. When you hire me you know that your photography will be taken care of and you have one less thing to worry about.

Do you require a consultation to book?

I would love to meet with you but do not require a consultation to book. I understand that it may be difficult to meet due to work, school, traffic, travel, etc. You always have the option to schedule a consultation by phone. I use an electronic contract and accept payments online, so you can reserve your date from the comfort of your home.

What is required to book the date with you?

All that is needed to reserve your date is a signed wedding contract and retainer. Just provide me with addresses of all the locations that photography will take place, start time and requested package, and I will send you an online contract that you only need to review and electronically sign. The retainer is 1/3 of the total package price (plus all applicable taxes) and is payable by cash, check, money order or by credit card payment online.
